The basics

What is OTR, and why it saves you money

One-Time Registration means you register your core details once with the Recruitment Portal instead of re-entering them for every exam.

Pay once

A single OTR fee covers all 2026 exams. No per-exam application fee after that.

Enter once

Your name, DOB, and gender auto-fetch from Aadhaar, no re-typing each time.

Apply fast

Step by step

How to complete OTR

You'll need an active SSO ID first. No account yet? Register here, then come back.

Log in and open the Recruitment Portal

Sign in to your SSO account and click the Recruitment Portal icon.

Click "One Time Registration"

Find and click the OTR button on the Recruitment dashboard.

Choose a verification method

Aadhaar / Jan Aadhaar (recommended) auto-fetches name, father's name, DOB, and gender. SSO Profile requires uploading your 10th marksheet.

Verify details and add education

Cross-check every auto-fetched field and link your ABC ID to sync degrees and marks digitally.

All details must match your Class 10th marksheet exactly. Corrections later carry a ₹300 fee.
Costs

OTR fee structure

Your fee depends on category. Out-of-state candidates always pay the General rate.

2026 OTR fee by category
CategoryOTR fee
General / OBC (creamy layer) / other state₹600
SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / EWS / PwD (Rajasthan)₹400
Once paid, there are no individual application fees for 2026 exams, that single payment covers all of them.
Out-of-state candidates are treated as "General" and pay ₹600 regardless of their home-state category.
Coverage

Which exams OTR covers

A single OTR applies across major RPSC and RSSB recruitments throughout the year.

Register your OTR early in the recruitment cycle so you're ready the moment a vacancy opens.
What changed

New for 2026

Face authentication is now required for high-security recruitments during OTR. Keep your device camera ready and make sure you're in good lighting when you reach that step.

The recommended path remains Aadhaar or Jan Aadhaar verification, which auto-fetches your name, father's name, DOB, and gender, so there's less to type and fewer mismatches with your marksheet.

Have your camera and a well-lit space ready before starting OTR for high-security posts.
Common questions

OTR 2026 FAQ

Do I pay the OTR fee for every exam?

No. You pay once (₹600 or ₹400 by category) and it covers all 2026 recruitments, CET, LDC, Patwari and others. No individual application fees after that.

I'm from another state. What fee do I pay?

You're treated as General category and pay ₹600, regardless of your home-state reservation category.

What if my details don't match my 10th marksheet?

Every field must match exactly. Corrections after submission carry a ₹300 fee, so double-check before you confirm.

Do I need an SSO ID before doing OTR?

Yes. OTR happens inside the Recruitment Portal, which you reach after logging in with your SSO ID. Register for one first if you haven't.

What is the face authentication step?

New for 2026, high-security recruitments verify your identity with a live camera scan during OTR. Keep your camera ready and be in good lighting.
